“I find [the term biracial] offensive. It’s a way for people to separate themselves from ‘African-Americans’ — a way of saying ‘I’m better than that.’
I’m black because that’s the way the world sees me. People aren’t calling Barack Obama biracial. Most people think there’s a black president.”
So what's your take on this subject? How do YOU feel about the term biracial?

I really don't find the term "biracial" as being offensive at all. I am a person that comes from a background of different racial mixtures (mainly West Indian & European) & I have no problem with defining myself as being "multiracial". By me doing so, I get 2 acknowledge my various racial bloodlines bcuz by me just saying that I'm only 1 thing would be like me denying other aspects of my heritage. That's just how I feel about it....

When the idea of women voting was first muted in the parliaments in some countries, most women ridiculed it as much as men. Paula's reaction is similar to women opposing suffrage...

It is an interesting article. I am both white and black, but I consider myself beige just as the website states. In my world travels I've noticed that people view me differently depending on the demographic. So I've been referred to as just about everything from black to white to hispanic and everything in between. It doesn't bother me at all and I am grateful for who I am. In fact, my brother and I embrace who we are in the songs that we write :)

The Nationals are actually a little of the disappointment this yr subsequent reaching the .500 mark in 2005. Their downfall was as a complete result of two things: bad pitching and nobody apart from Alfonso Soriano inside the lineup that was a risk to produce runs.

I just got off the phone for something unrelated and we were talking about the self-service revolution in the workplace, How can a customer care rep comments on a restructure or capital raising?
The falafel, the hummus, the whole weird wonderful waffleizer idea. Love this, yes I do.
